Dairy Free Doggie Dessert
Doesn’t your dog deserve dessert too every once in a while? My little guy turned ten this week, so we decided to celebrate by baking him a birthday cake. It was easy to whip up, and he definitely enjoyed it!
1 cup organic wheat pastry flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup all natural smooth peanut butter
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 cup minced or shredded carrots
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup honey
1 1/2 teaspoons Ener-G egg replacer
2 tablespoons water
Preheat oven to 350° F. Combine dry ingredients. In separate dish, mix egg replacer with water until smooth. Add to dry mixture, along with the remainder of the ingredients. Mix well. Pour into greased loaf pan, and bake for approximately 40 minutes. Cool completely, and feed to Fido!
