Cinnamon Dessert Pizza – Milk Free Recipes
3/4 C. Water
1 T. Olive Oil
1 T. Sugar
1 1/2 t. Salt
2 1/4 C. Flour
1 t. Yeast
Bread mixer recipe: add ingredients to your mixer in order of manual. Set to “Pizza Dough”. When cycle ends punch down and then spread on oiled pizza pan.
Hand Mixing recipe: Foam yeast and sugar in warm water for 5 minutes. Add dry ingredients slowly and mix by hand when dough becomes stiff. Turn onto floured surface and knead for 5 minutes.
Oil a bowl and place dough ball inside. Cover with moistened (not dripping wet) towel and put in a warm place for about an hour until doubled in size. Punch down and then spread on oiled pizza pan.
Or- use a pre-made dough from the store on your oiled pizza pan.
1 C. Flour
1/2 C. Brown sugar- packed
1 T. Cinnamon
6 T. Milk free margerine (not light)
Mix flour, sugar and cinnamon in bowl. Dice up CHILLED margarine and add to dry mix. Mix with hands until you can form a sort of “snow-ball” with mixture. Try to leave crumbles big and spread over pizza dough.
Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes until dough bottom is golden.
1 cup powdered sugar mixed with 1-2 tablespoons water.
Drizzle glaze on cooked pie when it is fresh out of the oven.
Let sit for 5 minutes, cut and serve warm.
